Ingredients
Avocado Sauce:
1ripe avocado
⅓cupfresh cilantro
2clovesof garlic
1tbspolive oil
½tbspred wine vinegar
Juice from 1 large lime
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepperto taste
Steaks:
Steaks of your choice (I used rib eye and top sirloin)
Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste
Chili powder, to taste
Onion powder, to taste
Paprika, to taste
Coriander, to taste
Cumin, to taste
Oregano, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
Instructions
Make the avocado sauce by combining all ingredients in a food processor and blending until smooth. Taste and add more sea salt, freshly cracked pepper, or lime juice if needed. Set aside to let flavors mingle.
Season the steaks by sprinkling each side with the seasonings to taste.
Preheat the grill to medium heat, or if using a grill pan, heat it on the stovetop to medium-high heat.
Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the desired degree of doneness, using a meat thermometer.
Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Once the steak has rested, slice and serve with the avocado sauce. Enjoy.
