Equipment

  • Blender
  • Silicone dog treat trays
  • Baking Tray

Ingredients

  • 3 carrots, peeled & chopped
  • 1 large apple, peeled & chopped **Discard seeds & core--they are unsafe for dogs
  • ½-¾ cup water, to taste

Instructions

  • Blend the chopped carrots, apple slices, and water in a high-powered blender until smooth. 
  • Place the dog treat silicone trays on a baking sheet, then spoon the mixture into molds or ice cube trays.
  • Place in the freezer for two hours, or until frozen solid. Transfer the frozen carrot-apple dog treats to an airtight container and store them in the freezer. Enjoy.
