Caramelized Ham & Swiss Sliders

I have seen these little caramelized ham & Swiss sliders on food blogs for a long time but have never made them. After making a thyme honey-glazed ham, I knew exactly what to do with the leftovers–these sliders! These easy ham and cheese sliders were quick and simple to make and smelled amazing while they baked. We all enjoyed these tasty sliders and thought they paired well with a classic Caesar salad and some potato salad.

How to Make Caramelized Ham & Swiss Sliders:
Make the sauce by combining the warm melted butter with the Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk well and set aside to let the flavors mingle.

Split the rolls in half (top & bottom). Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls to taste.
Place a few pieces of ham on the bottom halves, then top with Swiss cheese.
Place the roll tops on top and put them in a single layer in the cast iron skillet.

We love sliders! Your sound delicious! Perfect for all that leftover Easter ham!
They look delicious Pam. We sure enjoyed our visit to Tillamook while in OR.
Great way to use your leftover ham. And, they should be perfect with Caesar Salad.
Sounds terrific! You must all have been drooling at the oven door by the time they came out, because I’m sure they smelled wonderful. I might just make some rolls and try these, since we always have ham around.
